Is it free to submit a tool?

Accepted Answer

Yes — basic submission is free. Every tool listed on Relve was either submitted by its team or scraped + verified by editorial. If you'd like a featured slot (homepage Top Stories, category landing pages, or compare page placements), see the Advertise page for our sponsored programmes. Sponsored placements are always labelled as such; editorial picks stay independent.

How long does review take?

Accepted Answer

Most submissions are reviewed within 48 hours. We check that the tool exists, the website resolves, the AI claim is real (not vapourware), and there's no overlap with an existing entry. If we find issues — broken site, duplicate entry, suspected paid-review content — we'll email you with what to fix. Approved tools usually go live the same week.

What information do you need from me?

Accepted Answer

Tool name, website URL, a one-sentence tagline, a 2-3 sentence description, the primary category, pricing model (free / freemium / paid / contact-for-pricing), and a contact email. Optional but helpful: platforms (web/iOS/Android/Chrome extension), top 3 features, top 3 use cases, social links, and founder/HQ info. The more you fill in, the faster we can publish.

What kind of tools get rejected?

Accepted Answer

Tools that aren't really AI (just a SaaS with 'AI' in the marketing), affiliate/referral wrappers around someone else's API with no original product, demos/landing pages without a working signup, and tools that overlap heavily with something already in the catalog. We also pass on tools whose only differentiator is price-undercutting an established player — the directory is meant to surface novel capability, not commodity SKUs.

Can I claim a tool that's already listed?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From any tool detail page, click 'Claim this tool' (visible to signed-in users). Provide a work email matching the tool's domain; we send a verification link. Once verified, you can edit the tool's profile, view monthly traffic analytics, and run promo campaigns from the tool-owner dashboard. Editorial reviews any edits before they go live.

What if my tool is rejected?

Accepted Answer

We email you with the specific reason. You can address the feedback and resubmit. If you disagree with the rejection, reply to the email and we'll have a different editor take a second look. Long-term, the goal is curation over directory bloat — we'd rather list 200 great tools than 2,000 mediocre ones.
